Burger doesn’t rush into spaces, he reads them. Quiet, gentle, and endlessly sweet, he has a way of settling in like he’s always been there.

Cut back to his first day at the foster home. He was quiet, polite, almost trying not to take up space. He moved carefully through the house, taking it all in, reading the room like he’d done it a hundred times before.

Then the introductions: two resident dogs, curious but calm. A few sniffs, a cautious circle… and just like that, the tension melted. Tails loosened, bodies softened. He fell into step with them as if he’d always belonged there.

 

They started calling him Burger – soft, a little goofy, and impossible not to love, just like him.

 

By the end of the day, he wasn’t just visiting, he was part of the pack. He’s wonderful with calm dogs and easy, gentle with people, happiest just being near you.

 

Now all he needs is a place to call his own.
