Toffee, a 7-month-old intact Shiba Inu, urgently needs a fosterer who is patient and preferably experienced with the breed.

 

Shiba Inu are not the easiest dogs to handle. They are highly independent, confident, and intelligent, often with a strong “you-need-me-more-than-I-need-you” attitude. Toffee fits that description well.

 

His biggest challenge is his distrust of harnesses. He can also be wary of human touch when a leash is presented. Helping him will take patience, understanding, and a calm approach.

 

We are preferably looking for someone living in a landed property, where he can move around more freely without too much pressure around walks for now. Ideally, an all-adult household would be best.
